There's really no management of resources, or selections of departments or tools or anything like that. You can "hire" employees, change their equipment and decide what they do, based on the department they work in. As far as the whole simulation aspect is concerned, there's very little of it. And the "roguelike" aspect only comes from the selection of artifacts or monsters you choose from when given the opportunity to do so. When you think of a "simulation", one would assume that there would be different aspects you control in the game, but those mechanics are completely shallow. You should not love your employees to much, because most likely they will not live long. The athmosphere reminds me of Darkest Dungeon its somehow dark. The abominations are really well designed, unique and funny. Your job is to control strange beings called abominations and earn energy for mankind by treating them well and survive them too. Some Youtube videos helped and i am happy i didnt give up. There is a tutorial but in fact i was tempted to give up this game because i thought i wasnt able to understand its mechanics well enough.
